Well, back to field day, we did the regular boring field day stuff, and got pizza, snacks and soda for lunch and then had a huge scavenger hunt which was pretty fun. They gave you a list of things that you had to do, and you had an hour to do them. They were like list all the 50 states in alphabetical order, then give all their nicknames, and get a par 4 on the first hole on the golf course, and some origami challenge. (My team folded up pieces of paper, and then used our imaginations to figure out what they could possibly be) They came out to be a beetle, swan and a penguin. When the hour was up, we went swimming in groups, and that was the end.
We rushed home in order to have time for Sara to do our makeup before the dance, and before Sara went home at 5:30. After she did most of our hair and makeup, setting us free to do the rest, she left, and we were ready to go. Zsas had two friends over, and one of them had very bad luck with her dress that day. One of the little teeth on her dress broke off in the bag i guess, and so she couldn't zip her dress up. Mom was trying to sew it up, but then decided that it would probably come loose at the dance, so she and her mom went back to her house to get a different dress. We ended up going in separate cars, already a little fashionably late, but thats OK. The dance was fun, but of course, right through game 7 of the Stanley cup finals, so they projected that up on the wall. The room went absolutely NUTS when the Bruins scored, and many were very happy going home with a score of 4 - 0 bruins. There were teary goodbyes and fireworks after, which concluded the night. Except for a lot of people that went home and immediately turned on the TV to watch the Bruins win the Stanley cup!!!!!!!!!!! (One of those people including me.) :) It was pretty late by that time, so I almost fell asleep during the game, but was awake long enough for each member of the Bruins team skating around holding the cup above their heads. Go Bruins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
